  Resident within the UK
This is pretty self explanatory, you must reside and be able to provide a UK address for either your place of work, or home which ever is appropriate.
Make Your Own Dolls
We do not wish any doll artist of any kind to feel excluded from our community!
You either make/pour or sculpt the doll yourselves or costume dolls made from a kit, the costuming category includes the following
Reborn artists ( those that repaint, wig/root and dress dolls of 12" and smaller)
Porcelain Doll Artists (Those that purchase porcelain dolls, who then may wig/paint/dress the dolls themselves)
For this there will be a category assigned in order to grow through their own levels of expertise. If you are unsure whether you qualify then please just email us with a basic description of what your work entails and we will gladly help to place you in a category within the Guild!
Be willing to promote and actively take part in guild events
By becoming a member you are bound by the Guild charter, you will have to agree to the terms of that charter. (To read the charter please see here) Taking part in guild events could be anything from submitting dolls for exhibition, promoting your membership through your website, auctions, fairs and shows. Events will not be compulsory i.e., challenges and seminars, as we know a doll makers life tends to be a very busy one!
Be able to provide up to date contact details and 3 photos of your work
Each member is provided with a their own contact page, where they can introduce themselves, show case 3 pieces of their work and give details of their web sites, telephone numbers, address, email and any other form of contact for prospective customers to be able to contact them. This can be updated as often as they wish!
Keep up to date on subscription payments
The price of membership to the guild is as follows:
four quarterly  payments of  £5.00 ( every 3rd month) payable via paypal
or an annual payment of £20.00 on Buy it now for trial membership
You can also join via post, if you do not have access to a computer on a regular basis then Julie sends out a newsletter via post to the postal members to keep them up to date on things going on in our online forum, challenges, exhibitions, workshops, and general fun days that are coming up!
(Subject to review)

All payments and terms must be met before membership is issued.
Learn the craft and join the Guild as a
Novice! (LIMITED PLACES)
There is already a wealth of knowledge gained by the artists that have joined. If you would like to learn the craft of doll making and interact with the artists, then we have an online forum that you can join to ask questions and be guided through the process of doll making. This would include help in the fields of anything from sculpting, assembling porcelain dolls, wigging, fantasy doll making costuming, making accessories to name but a few!
If a Novice moves up to Doll Maker, that placement will then be available to a new novice member. There are presently 5 novice places available.
We must stress that this level is for those not presently selling their work!

As a Novice you will be able to join the guild on the forum and all aspects open on there as far as taking part in challenges and trading supplies. As well access to information of where you can get supplies, what are the best tools to use etc! The only difference is that you would not be offered a contact page. However once you feel confident enough to display your dolls and offer them up for sale, you can upgrade your membership to aspirer and change your subscription level. As a Novice you will be informed of workshops and seminars that may be offered by the doll artists, real people in a room with hands on tuition! We also offer a Mentoring system, where you are paired with a Doll Maker within your chosen field who will help guide you through the process and answer questions on a one to one system through private messages on the forum or via email.
Membership for this is a £10.00 annual fee. Wish to join? Then use the "Buy It Now" Button Below!
