Hello there and welcome! My name is Nicky Cooper and I have been making 1/12th scale dolls since the year 2000. Having started out 23 years ago as a professional cake maker with formal qualifications in sugar craft, I started looking for a more permanent medium with which to supply cake toppers. I then discovered polymer clay and this opened up a whole new world to satisfy my creative thirst! Having purchased a doll house for my daughter I then set about creating dolls house dolls. Just three dolls later I was approached by a museum to sculpt for them full time which now house more than 300 of my dolls. I have now retired from cake making as doll making had completely taken over! For me it is a definite labour of love. To date I have now made more then 800 dolls, each one as different as the next and residing in their new homes at all corners of the globe! Each doll is hand sculpted, poseable and come with a certificate of authenticity inside their own little custom made clear display box.
I never cease to come up with different and more unusual scenarios and I am blessed with a customer base forever ready to keep me active with ever new challenges!
I do take commissions and the present waiting time for this is approximately 4 weeks. I try to keep the cost of my dolls to the absolute minimum to make them affordable to all! Commissions start from as little as £20 and each doll takes a minimum of 24 hours of work to go from a ball of clay to the finished product! All eras in history can be catered for!  I sculpt anything from witches, fantasy, macabre, gentile folk but my absolute favourite is character dolls! I am a member of  CDHM (Custom Doll House Miniatures)
 I presently reside in Dunstable Bedfordshire with my partner and two teenage children and our delightfully large dog called Jake!!
