I have been making my own dolls for about 8 years. I have always had an interest in dolls and miniatures, since I was a child. Being one of seven children and money in short supply. I learned to use my imagination to create the dolls items I wanted, sometimes using plasticine. Which stays soft!
When I think back, what would I have given to have had polymer clays back then !
I joined a dolls house club and it opened a whole new world for me. I made my first tiny baby, that I thought was good. I kept this baby to remind me how I started. (looks like an alien).
I have done several commissions. Ebay opened up a great way of selling and meeting like minded people. I love looking at other artist work .I know there is still some room for improvement in my own!
