Hello, my name is Margaret Murphy of Treasured Possessions. 

I am originally from Lancashire but have lived in the north east for a number of years.  I have been making miniature dolls for about ten years, which all started because I couldn’t find the kind of characters I wanted to populate my 1/12 scale houses and shops. 

My dolls are all individually made (no moulds), as are the clothes, which are all made from natural fabrics – lace, silk or cotton.  I place great importance on getting the detail right, such as authentic looking spectacles, hats etc.   

I am an established seller on eBay, and have my own website, where you can see examples of my work and commission a figure for as little as £20.
